Por primera vez intenté realizar un envío a México, sin embargo no se reflejó en mi cuenta, me pidieron fotos del ID del destinatario y aún así no se reflejó, hay muchas aplicaciones seguras, pero esta deja mucho que desear, no te brindan información ni ayuda al momento, tienes que esperar 24 horas que ellos lo van a checar, no recomiendo esta aplicación, si al final de cuentas es mejor ir a una casa de envío a usar esta aplicación

This app advertises itself as capable of sending money from the U.S. to Kenya. That is untrue. Twice I attempted to send money from the U.S. to a Kenyan M-PESA account. Both times the transfer was canceled without reason. I attempted these transfers several months apart. Here’s the issue: 1. As the sender, I now bear the burden of having the money held as a preauth on my account, potentially for DAYS. 2. I was offered no explanation for why the transfer was unsuccessful. 3. I was offered no remedy. Full text of their email below. “Thanks for using Sendwave” they say. I didn’t. I couldn’t. This is customer service? Do better. I’m running back to Remitly. Your transfer of $x,xxx.xx (xxx,000 Ksh) to REMOVED (Confirmation Number: REMOVED) has been cancelled. The preauthorization on your debit card for this transfer is now being reversed, and no money was debited from your bank account. It may take several business days for the funds to become available again in your account, while your bank reverses the 'hold' placed on the funds. You should see the authorization disappear altogether on your account within several business days, but in some cases this may take longer. Timing of the authorization release is completely dependent on your bank's processing time for our debit card processor. This will not appear as a traditional refund. Downloaded the app tried to send money. Couldn’t, then was told after reviewing my account they deemed it a security concern and deactivated it. No explanation on what they found to be nefarious because they did find anything. I simply linked bank acct to the app and followed all the security measures. And to be treated in the chat like I don’t matter is extremely unprofessional. I’d prefer the company say we don’t like you and we’re not doing business with you, cool. But to say I have nefarious account based on your “relevant teams” findings, without providing evidence is horrible.
I sent a high amount and it was not paid to the recipient, they told me that there was a problem with the local server, which is why it took so long to receive, but I did a test and sent a very low amount, and to my surprise it was paid at the same time, I find this very strange, and they didn't solve anything for me
It used be the best but nowadays they keep and delay your money. They made me pay late fees to an apartment because of their delay. Returned my money after 5 days
I gave this app a try and it was the worst experience ever. My grandmother waited 3 hours at the bank because the app bank account didn’t had sufficient funds to withdraw the money. The 24/7 chat support never responded to my queries.

Recently downloaded this app based on others recommendations. The app has worked several times, but not always. Sometimes it will cancel my transfers without explanation. Customer service was not able to explain any of cancelations and it was not my bank’s fault. But, the service is nice when it works.

They will not let your delete account!! I’ve been emailing two different customer service emails with Sendwave for now a month to delete/ deactivate my account. Sendwave was responsive on their “to wallet” customer service email. Now, they’re not responsive at all.
I have never had to go through so much “alleged” verification with an app. They want your phone number, government issued ID, current/previous addresses, amount of money you’re trying to send, purpose of sending the funds (even if it’s for $5), and even a passport of the recipient. I get the impression that they’re selling personal information rather then the 1% exchange rate they charge for international transactions. Do not give them your information, as they will restrict access to your account for any arbitrary reason, just in time for you to realize that it was also just a hustle to begin with. Stay away from these international hustlers, they have no sense of professionalism and all of their agents read from a script. You will get a migraine, before you’re provided any effective solutions.

I used sendwawe because I saw an influencer I like promoting it, and it was quick and easy too, but the customer service is very bad, when you have a problem and you try to contact them they are never available and when you finally manage to find them they don't help you much, they write to you and repeat your problem without finding the solution, and they don't even bother to inform you and give you an update, I have had a transaction for 2 days, I haven't received any updates, I write them, call without answer, and I have already lost 50us because of them, once my transaction is delivered I will delete this application forever
I open account was referred by my cousin and I got $20 credit bonus until now I’m not able to send anything. I called customer service. This is taking a submit review. It’s been over two weeks still I keep getting message. I cannot send you the money this is annoying and worthless. Never refer a friend to it. I called customer service and they are worthless. Sendwave used to be the absolute best way to send money to Africa and I sent many over several years. Now all of a sudden they will not accept profit organization debit card so I have to send using another money transfer app. Very disappointing.
I’ve used other apps and no issues. It’s been 48hrs and shows delivered but no funds deposited. I contacted them and all they say is wait another 24 to 48 hours. Do not recommend this app. No thanks!
You tried to use it and they automatically cancel your transfer. You talk to them and they said it has to do with their automated system ? If they are any lawsuits against this company , sign me up .
Had an issue with money transfer and customer reps are not emphatic at all. When the issue was not even my fault. I had to wait 30 mins to get accommodated! Very frustrated with this transaction and definitely have no trust with my next money transfer!!!!

Called customer service to ask about a pending transaction, was put on hold for almost 2hours!!!! As if that was not enough the representative Iris, started shouting on the line for almost 2min then asking me if I can understand her?!!! Really??? I calmly told her she doesn’t need to shout as my hearing is adequate and I could hear without her shouting. To cut the long story short, my transaction of $500 never went through its pending for no fault of mine and ‘they’ send wave are telling me I should wait for 24-48 hours or 5-10 business days before I could access my cash!!
When you call them they don’t even know what is going on with the money and they recommend to cancel the transaction but why

I have been using Sendwave for over 4 years and in past 6 months I’ve had several transactions been delayed for a few a days one them took a week and they claimed it was an outage with my bank today I spoke to Rose on the chat support of the app and wasn’t helpful and wasn’t seeing my frustration. At this point I will never Sendwave for this has me they don’t value me as a customer

Sendwave give me instruction to put money in sendwave wallet and after doing that I still cannot send my money. Ask for a refund and said 3 business days. Scary apps.
